Leonardo DiCaprio‘s critically-acclaimed movie The Revenant topped this weekend’s box office with a $16 million gross!
According to THR, hundreds of theaters were closed on the East Coast due to Winter Storm Jonas, so revenue could reportedly drop as much as 15 percent.
Coming in at No. 2 was Star Wars: The Force Awakens, starring Harrison Ford, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and more, which earned an additional $14.5 million.
Taking the third spot was Kevin Hart and Ice Cube‘s comedy Ride Along 2, which brought in $12.9 million.
Rounding out the top five were Zac Efron and Robert De Niro‘s R-rated comedy Dirty Grandpa, and Lauren Cohan‘s The Boy, which earned $11.5 million and $11.2 million, respectively.
Meanwhile, The 5th Wave, starring Chloe Moretz and Alex Roe, came in at No. 6 with an estimated $10.3 million.
